Translator with Speech App Reviews

The translation is awesome and the voice is so helpful for me when Im out of the house, since I now live in Moscow. Correct pronunciation is so important. The only annoying thing is the ad window right below the "Translate" button...Im always accidentally being redirected to upgrade. Its annoying enough that I probably will upgrade eventually.

I find it useful and a big help to all foreigners all over the World who doesnt know the meaning of the word they are hearing and encountering from reading books,etc.

Oops! I paid $2.99 for the ability to speak a word and have it translated (23 languages). I neglected to go into settings and turn on the apps ability to use the microphone. Works much better now that I did that.

This App is great! Ive had it on my phone for 2 years+. I dont always use unless traveling but over time Ive noticed it has gotten better and better. When in Spain and had people speaking in Spanish they commented that it was grammatically correct which made me feel good. Many during my travels compared but put this on their phone

The standard translation is fine. However, the text translation, which involves taking a photograph is not good. First off, you actually have to take a photo from the app. You cannot access the photos already on the phone. Second, it cannot translate languages that do not use the standard alphabet. Russian, Armenian, anything from Asia is out. Glad I got tricked into paying for this little worthless gem.

Easy to use and cool

I keep getting redirected to ads every time I try to use the translator. Cant actually get to the translation.

For years this was a 4/5⭐️ app that I used regularly to communicate with friends in Italy, now since the May 15, 2015 improvements, it wont even open. It dropped & opened my Safari only to reroute me to candy crush saga then to a web developer site that apparently couldnt be found? What the heck! Im not upgrading anything for .99 if the free app wont even work anymore. Off to look for a new app, leaving disappointed.

Used to love this app but lately its hasnt been working . Every time I open it- it knocks me off to a safari page that I dont want to go to. Probably needs to have an update to fix it

Automatically re-directs to Safari with some unwanted web page. Never ceases to amaze me how someone can screw up an app that used to work just fine.

Why cant this app be fixed? I use it to communicate to my sub-contractors. It keeps redirecting me to adds.

I loved this app! It was easy to used and ran smoothly, until the update. Every time you put something in the translator, it closes the app, brings you to a web page, and then the App Store. I deleted this app and went with a different one, trust me, the adds are WAY too annoying to deal with.
